Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support resident-centered rehabilitation in our long-term and post-acute care community. Working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will help evaluate residents’ functional abilities and implement individualized treatment plans.

You will train residents in activities of daily living, mobility, and use of adaptive equipment, document progress, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant credential.
• Ability to work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Comfort educating families and training residents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and assist in development of treatment plans.
• Carry out individualized rehabilitation programs under OT supervision.
• Train residents in activities of daily living, mobility, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Document progress and outcomes of interventions.
