Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in San Jose, CA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join an interdisciplinary care team delivering individualized OT services to adult and geriatric participants in center and home-based settings.

You will work under the direction of a licensed OT to implement ADLs training, mobility and functional rehab, while building long-term relationships with participants and reducing patient volumes.

Qualifications

• OTA program degree required.
• California COTA/OTA license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical knowledge in adult and geriatric rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy treatment programs under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Implement individualized interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, balance, endurance, cognition, coordination, and functional independence.
• Assist with vital signs, ROM assessments, strength testing, and other participation care components.
• Coordinate treatment activities with the Rehabilitation and IDT.
• Provide services in both center and participant home settings.

Education

Associate’s degree from an Accredited OTA program

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with vital signs, range-of-motion assessments, strength testing, and other components of participant care
• Coordinate treatment activities with the broader Rehabilitation and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
• Provide services in both center and participant home settings, adapting interventions to real-world functional needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
• Valid California COTA/OTA license, or proof of eligibility for licensure
• Strong clinical knowledge relevant to adult and geriatric rehabilitation
