Job Summary

Page Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team on a prn basis. We are a supportive, team-oriented skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to enhance residents’ functional abilities
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and adaptive techniques
• Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses in a timely manner
• Monitor resident progress and promptly report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality resident care
• Comply with all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Florida COTA license in good standing
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred (new graduates welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
