Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab is actively seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. This role supports the OT team in daily services, patient assessments, and care planning for a general rehab caseload in a close-knit facility.

The ideal candidate holds an OTA associate degree, NBCOT certification, and current state licensure to provide high-quality patient care within our center. Flexible schedule and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• OTA Associate Degree from accredited OTA program required.
• Certification as OTA by the NBCOT required.
• Current licensure in state employed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist and/or supervisor in daily OT services.
• Coordinate with other divisions, departments, and nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Support patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation for a general rehab caseload.

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist and/or supervisor in the overall day to day operations of occupational therapy services of the center. Assists in coordination with other divisions, departments, and nursing staff to ensure that quality care is provided and to support the goals and objectives of the company. Promotes wellness through the assistance of completion of patient assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload.

Qualifications

• OTA Associate Degree from accredited OTA program required.
• Certification as OTA by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.
• Current licensure in state employed.
