Job summary

Total Education Solutions (TES) Ohio is seeking a school-based Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our tight-knit OT team. This full-time role is 31 hours with potential to grow, located in Cleveland, OH.

You will provide direct therapy services to students, implement individualized treatment plans, maintain records, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success. A strong mentorship and training program accompanies excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• License / Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Background check clearance required (BCI/FBI).
• TB test within the last 12 months.

Looking for a school based COTA to join our tight knit OT Team at Total Education Solutions. You will be a part of an exciting multidisciplinary team where we value collaboration as well as a workload approach to scheduling. This is a full time position at 31 hours that is expected to grow.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant | COTA

$26.25 - $32.22 /hr*. *Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

Expectations:

• Provide direct therapy services to students with varying disabilities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Maintain accurate student records and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success

Minimum Requirements:

• License / Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (at least 25/50k liability coverage)
• Must clear a current background check through the BCI/FBI
• A current TB Test (within the last 12 months)

• Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
• Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
• Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
