Job summary

TES Ohio Occupational Therapy Team is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students in partner schools serving grades K-8. You will supervise COTAs, complete evaluations, and develop plans to help students progress, with direct OT services as outlined in IEPs.

Opportunities include working in classrooms, clinics, and homes, with a collaborative team and flexible scheduling. Ohio license required; driving may be needed.

We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled Occupational Therapist to support students in our partner schools serving grades K-8. You’ll provide hands-on support to help students thrive in and beyond the classroom while working alongside a collaborative team that is committed to student success.

In this role, you’ll supervise COTAs, complete evaluations, and develop plans designed to help students make meaningful progress.

Position: Occupational Therapist
Pay Range: $41.08 - $45.88/hr*
*Range depends on experience, certification, education, and second language use (50% of the time).

What You’ll Do

• Help students develop fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills for school success
• Work side-by-side with teachers, families, and staff to create supportive learning environments
• Provide direct OT services (individual and group) as outlined in IEPs
• Share your expertise by suggesting tools, strategies, and accommodations
• Track progress, participate in IEP meetings, and celebrate wins with your team
• Stay creative and bring fresh, evidence-based approaches to your work

What We’re Looking For

• Ohio License/Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Ability to drive for work with appropriate auto insurance (25/50k liability coverage)
• Clear background check (BCI/FBI)
• Current TB test

Your Work Environment

No two days are exactly alike. Depending on student needs, you could work in classrooms, clinics, and/or homes while supporting students with a variety of needs. Be prepared for some noise, plenty of movement, and lots of rewarding moments as you help kids work toward their goals.
