Qualifications

• Conducts general diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies under physician direction.
• Prepares patient room/equipment/medications for procedures.
• Must obtain appropriate sonography credential within two years if not already credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Operates sonography equipment to capture necessary imaging.
• Explains examination procedures to patients.
• Completes departmental documentation accurately.

Education

HS Diploma or equivalency required

Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
