Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to join our team. In this role you will provide daily care, build relationships with residents, and help them feel comfortable and at home.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, safety, and accurate documentation, while communicating changes to the nurse. The position offers part-time hours on day shift and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Illinois CNA certificate.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows residents to function at their highest level of independence (dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, mobility, continence care).
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete CN.A. documentation including progress notes, meals/fluids, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families and coworkers with a pleasant, positive approach.
• Respect Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.
• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.
• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Illinois C.N.A. Certificate
• Current CPR Card
