Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs for a part-time day shift on 7am–3pm to join our caring team. You will provide daily care, build relationships, and help residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and safety, plus timely communication with nurses and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows residents to function at their highest level of independence (dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, mobility, continence care).
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nurse immediately when noted.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete CN.A. documentation including progress notes, meals, fluid intake, bowel sheet, and ADL records.
• Communicate with residents, families and coworkers in a pleasant, positive manner.
• Respect residents' rights for privacy and dignity.

• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.

• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.

• Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.

• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.

• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Illinois C.N.A. Certificate

• Current CPR Card
