Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to join our team for the evening shift (3pm-11pm). You will provide daily care, build relationships, and help residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

Qualified candidates hold an active Illinois CNA certificate and CPR card. You will support residents' independence, maintain a safe environment, and communicate changes to the nurse promptly. Join a caring team that values dignity and compassion.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Illinois CNA certificate.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Evening shift availability 3pm–11pm is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to residents to maximize independence.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents.
• Notify nurse immediately of changes in residents' condition.
• Perform tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete CNA documentation including meals, fluids, bowel chart, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff with a friendly attitude.
• Respect residents' privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents

• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.

• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.

• Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.

• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.

• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Illinois C.N.A. Certificate

• Current CPR Card
