Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to join our team. You will provide daily care and build meaningful relationships with residents.

As a CNA, you'll assist with activities of daily living, maintain safety and cleanliness, and document care accurately. CPR and Illinois CNA certification are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to help residents function at their highest level of independence.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to nurse immediately.
• Perform tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Complete CN.A. documentation including progress notes and meals/fluid intake.
• Communicate with residents, families and co-workers with a warm, positive approach.
• Respect residents' privacy and dignity.

At Encore Village of Schaumburg, you'll do much more than provide daily care-you'll build relationships, offer reassurance, celebrate progress, and help our residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents

• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.

• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.

• Accountable for completion of C.N.A. documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADL's.

• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.

• Respects Residents Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current State of Illinois C.N.A. Certificate

• Current CPR Card
