Job summary

Aviata Health Group in Florida is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility while preserving dignity.

You’ll perform routines such as dressing, grooming, mobility support, meal assistance, light housekeeping, and safety checks, while reporting changes and providing friendly companionship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of state-approved CNA license.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• New hire orientation completed.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal needs, safety and comfort of residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living, wardrobe, hygiene and mobility.
• Aide with daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist with dining, including escorting to dining room and serving.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assisting with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room and serving
• Companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned
