Job summary

Aviata Health Group in Palm Bay, Florida, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct care to residents in a health and rehabilitation center. You will assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, and provide attentive, dignified care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, medication reminders, light housekeeping, dining support, and documenting changes in residents’ conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a state-approved CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aiding with daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition and status
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleaning up
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned
