Job summary

Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital in Arcadia/Temple City, CA is urgently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join a compassionate clinical team. As a CNA you will assist residents with daily living activities, take and record vital signs, and help maintain a clean, safe environment under the Charge Nurse.

We offer pay of $21–$25 per hour, a $1500 sign-on bonus for full-time hires, weekend and night-shift premiums, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in state with successful completion of a CNA program.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) under supervision.
• Take and record resident vital signs and document findings.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and treat residents with dignity and respect.

Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital in Arcadia/Temple City, CA is now URGENTLY hiring Certified Nursing Assistants! Come join our amazing team!

Pay: $21-$25 per hour (Depending on years of Experience)

$1500 Sign On Bonus (Full Time hires only. Paid in two installments, $750 after 90 days and $750 after 180 days. Must be in good standing with no performance or attendance issues)

• Rehires Not Eligible for Sign On bonus

Full Time: 8 hour shifts on a STRICT 4 – 2 Rotation

Part Time: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Available Shifts:

• AM (7a-3p)
• PM (3p-11p)

$3 additional for working any weekend schedule with any shift

$2 additional for working NOC Shift

What you will do:

Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse to provide assistance with daily living for our residents according to policies and procedures established by Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) and assist with taking and recording resident vital signs. As our CNA, you will collaborate with your team and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and their families. You will be responsible to treat everyone with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity.

Must haves:

• CNA certification in state with a successful completion of a CNA program
• BLS (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Would be great:

• Nursing Assistant experience or direct care to multiple residents
• Behavioral care experience
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
