Cantex Continuing Care Network in Lufkin, TX, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Evening shift (2pm-10pm) in our Skilled Nursing facility. Join a high-performing team and provide hands-on ADL support in a compassionate setting.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and daily activities, ensuring patient safety and dignity while following individualized care plans and documentation standards.

Qualifikationen

• Active CNA certification required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and patient-first mindset.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Aufgaben

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection‑controlled environment.
• Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
