Job summary

Cantex in New Braunfels, TX is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with ADLs, transfers, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities according to regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, infection-controlled environment.
• Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
• Participate in shift handoffs and team communication; ongoing training.
• Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
