Cantex is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 2pm-10pm shift in Lufkin, Texas. You will provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, and help ensure patient safety and dignity in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• Ability to lift/move and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Document patient care and daily activities accurately per regulations.
• Support care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, infection-controlled environment.
• Ensure equipment are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
• Follow state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
