Job summary

Senior Lifecare and Family Agency LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers for in-person, home-based support in Fredericksburg, VA. You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with meals and light housekeeping, while following safety and HIPAA guidelines.

No prior caregiving experience is required, and training opportunities are provided to build confidence and professional skills.

Qualifications

• No prior caregiving experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Current PCA, CNA, or HHA certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous caregiving or related experience is a plus but not required.
• Candidates should be compassionate, dependable, professional, and punctual.

• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying living areas, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist clients with transfers and mobility using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior caregiving experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Current PCA, CNA, or HHA certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous caregiving, home care, assisted living, or nursing facility experience is a plus, but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and punctual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Physically able to perform caregiving duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility when necessary.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus, but not required.
