Providence Health and Services seeks a Nursing Assistant at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital-Anchorage to deliver direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, applying basic anatomy and care concepts.

Description Provides and assists in the provision of, direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN and whose activities require an understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Hours: Full Time 36-hour weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts weekly Shift: Day Shifts Required
Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements. Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Some college courses in nursing or therapy field. 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Pay Range: $21.16 - $32.37
