Job summary

Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide and assist in direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN. You will work within a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Qualifications include Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification, Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License, and completion of BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements.
• Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Some college courses in nursing or therapy field.
• 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care.

Hours and Shift

Full Time 36-hour weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts weekly. Shift: Day Shifts.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $21.16 - $32.37. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
