Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the nursing team. You will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide compassionate care during weekend shifts.

The role includes supporting personal care, meals, hygiene and social interactions, while documenting care activities and reporting changes to the Health Care Director. Certification required by state regulations; prior CNA experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by state regulations.
• Previous CNA experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, meals and social interactions.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document completed tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate needs and concerns clearly to other staff and Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift and adhere to policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
