Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for residents in Mansfield, TX. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor comfort, and ensure accurate documentation of care provided.

State-certified CNA required; previous CNA experience is a plus but not mandatory. This role may require evenings or weekends as needed and work is performed on-site at our Mansfield location.

Qualifications

• Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate clearly with staff about urgent needs and concerns to the Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift and adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
