Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) for weekend shifts. You will help residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping.

Attention to detail and compassionate care are essential as you document tasks and communicate with the health care team. Experience as a CNA and a state certification are required or preferred; the role may involve evenings and weekends based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) approved by state regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Comfort with daily resident care tasks and documentation.
• Ability to follow policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond to needs.
• Document tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs to Health Care Director.
• Manage tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities--CNA Weekends

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
