Certified Nursing Assistant (Two) - Laurelhurst Village

Join us as a Certified Nursing Assistant (Two) at Laurelhurst Village with Avamere.

Position Details

Status: Full-Time and PRN - As Needed
Shift: Days (6am-2pm), Evenings (2pm-10pm), NOCs (10pm-6am)
Shift Differential: $1.00 for Evening, $1.50 for NOC
Location: Laurelhurst Village, 3060 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97214

Responsibilities
  • Meet residents' personal care needs per their wishes
  • Review and update care plans daily
  • Notify nurses of any resident condition changes
  • Assist with daily activities and transportation
  • Create a warm, calm, and cheerful environment
  • Prepare residents' rooms and ensure comfort
  • Participate in surveys and maintain HIPAA confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed CNA in Oregon
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Passion for caregiving
  • Active CPR/BLS certification

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU 503. Avamere is an EOE and participates in E-Verify.
