The Wesley Community in New York offers a Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program designed to prepare you for patient care through online coursework and onsite skills. The 4-week hybrid model blends virtual learning with paid, on-site training.

During Weeks 3–4, trainees receive $16/hour and will be offered full- or part-time evening/night shifts upon completion, with opportunities to progress toward certification and employment at Wesley Health Care Center.

Qualifications

• Completion of all online coursework, skills demonstration and clinical hours is mandatory to qualify for the certification exam.
• Attendance at all onsite sessions is non‑negotiable.
• Must be 18 years or older.

HYBRID Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program

The Wesley Community is now accepting applications for our next Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Class. This accelerated program combines online coursework with immersive, hands‑on training to prepare you for a meaningful role in patient care. Skills training is held on site, and all candidates must be able to accept a C.N.A assignment and continued employment with the Wesley Health Care Center upon course completion and certification.

A 4-week hybrid model blends virtual learning with in-person instruction:

• Week 1and 2: Online coursework (self‑paced, with structured modules).
• Week 3: Paid, onsite skills training (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM).
• Week 4: Paid, onsite clinical hours & Dementia training (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM).

Requirements

• Reliable access to a laptop, smartphone, or tablet with high‑speed internet
• Microsoft account with PowerPoint access
• Ability to fully engage in online coursework and training videos

Compensation & Career Path

• Paid Training: During onsite (Weeks 3‑4, trainees receive $16/hour).
• Upon Program Completion: Offer of full‑or part‑time evening/night‑shift employment (based on availability).
• Certified Pay Range: $21.25/hour after passing the NYS CNA exam + applicable shift differentials.

Certification & Exam Support

• Upon successful program completion, you will be eligible to sit for the NYS CNA Exam through Prometric.
• All exam fees and coursework materials are covered by The Wesley Community.
• The state exam will be administered onsite at our facility.
