Job summary

The Bradford at Brookside - Livingston, TX 77351 is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shift duties at this skilled nursing location. Qualifications

• State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents personal care to assigned Patients in a manner conducive to safety policies and procedures and state/federal guidelines.
• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for Patients.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of Patients' status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of Patients' conditions and document observations as required.
• Promote safe/clean environment.
• Comply with safe lifting/transfer procedures per policies and procedures.
• Ensure equipment and mobile devices are charged, clean, and functional; report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Attend in-service training to maintain nursing assistant certification annually.
• Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for Patients, visitors, and staff.
• Function as a Team Leader/Role Model and enforce Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention.
• Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service and incorporate into patient care.
