The Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina, OH is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (STNA or State Test Eligible) to provide compassionate care and document according to Ohio state standards. We offer multiple shifts and a supportive team focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State Tested in Ohio or State Test Eligible within 120 days to work as CNAs.
• CPR/First Aid certification current or willingness to obtain shortly after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care tasks for residents while providing exceptional service.
• Assists with grooming (hair, nails, mouth), and maintains hearing aids and glasses.
• Assists with bathing and positioning with proper skin care.
• Observes and records resident conditions; monitors vital signs.
• Performs general resident transfers using proper devices and body mechanics.

Full-Time on 3pm-11:30pm and 11pm-7:30am

PRN on 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, and 11pm-7:30am

Summary:

Certified Nursing Assistants provide for the physical and emotional well-being of residents and document in accordance with Ohio state law and nursing home standards.

• Performs personal care tasks for residents, while providing exceptional customer service
• Personal grooming (hair, shave, nails, mouth, etc.) maintains hearing aids and glasses
• Bathing
• Positioning and proper skin care
• Observes and records resident condition information
• Vital signs
• General resident transfer, using proper assistive devices and body mechanics

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three months related experience.
• Must be State Tested in the state of Ohio or State Test Eligible Nurse Assistant (within 120-day eligibility to work as Certified Nursing Assistant and ability to State Test).
• Must have current certification in CPR/First Aid training or be open to getting it shortly upon hire.
