Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; Nurse Aide Training required.
  • Active NATCEP certificate in Ohio and ability to meet continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities of residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Help with lifting, ambulation, positioning, and transfers as instructed.
  • Provide restorative and rehabilitative procedures as directed by staff.
  • Ensure call lights are answered promptly and residents’ needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Document care accurately in Point Click Care and report changes to supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of resident units and support areas; assist with food service as needed.
