Trinity Community at Beavercreek, part of United Church Homes, is seeking a Non-Certified Nursing Assistant (NCNA) to support nursing staff in day-to-day resident care.
You will assist with activities of daily living, document care in Point Click Care, and follow dementia care protocols. No prior experience is required, and Ohio NATCEP-certified candidates are preferred.
This on-site role emphasizes compassion, safety, and teamwork within a respectful, person-centered care environment.
The Non-Certified Nursing Assistant (NCNA) is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the nursing department in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred; Must have completed Nurse Aide Training: Required
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Must be able to proficiently operate a computer, the Internet and basic office equipment
Certifications & Licenses: Active certificate conferred by the Ohio Department of Health's Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP); Must participate in Continuing Education OR eligibility to enter such program, graduate and pass a State Approved Competency evaluation within 120 days from the date of employment; Must obtain and maintain mandatory, state, federal requirements and certifications for practice or occupation
Other Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively with residents and nursing staff; Ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language; Special care/dementia care employees will have additional training in caring for and treating dementia residents; Must be able to work with elderly residents, families and other health care staff members; Must be able to adhere to all terms and conditions set forth in the United Church Homes Employee Handbook
