Job summary

Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in Yorktown, VA is seeking a Nursing Assistant for PRN/per diem 12-hour shifts. The role focuses on patient care, vital signs, hygiene, feeding assistance, mobility, and transport within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and demographic data for patients.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, etc.).
• Deliver meals, provide feeding assistance as needed, and document intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients and support mobility programs.
• Transport patients to treatment areas as required.

Minimum Qualifications
