Job summary

Ferry County Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant Certification (NAC) holder to provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision. The role includes assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and daily living activities, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Current NAC in State of Washington.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required at time of hire and throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in admission of patients.
• Assists patients in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Provides morning care (bed bath, oral hygiene, dressing, linen changes) and evening care (facial washing, oral hygiene, linen changes).
• Notifies licensed staff of pain and assists in postmortem care if needed.
• Assists LPN/LVN in treatments and provides general nursing care (positioning, transfer, ambulation).
• Maintains safety/quality culture and documents care in EMR.
• Takes vitals and daily measurements as ordered; assists in rounds and unit cleanliness.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
