Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN in charge. You will help maintain comfort and safety, and uphold high standards of integrity and teamwork.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Nursing Assistant certification, with a preference for those who have 2 years of experience. Expect a fast-paced environment with emphasis on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Certification as Nursing Assistant is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a high paced area and adapt to various tasks.
• Physical ability to transfer/lift patients and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Proactive, decisive, action-oriented and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to patients as directed by the RN in charge.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety.
• Follow all departmental policies, safety, environmental and infection-control standards.
• Represent the facility with integrity, free of gifts or improper inducements.
• Adhere to the facility’s Core Values and mission with dignity.
