Job summary

CarePartners Health Services in Asheville, NC, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our collaborative nursing team. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, assist with vital signs, mobility, and daily personal care, helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and attention to detail to help restore comfort and dignity for every patient.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 15 days of employment start date.
• CNA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands‑on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. • Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 15 days of employment start date
• (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant
