Job summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our patient care team on the Med-Surg unit. You will support nursing staff and assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring safety, comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility and vital signs, maintaining clean rooms, and delivering respectful, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon CNA I or II license required for CNA track; PCT is entry level and does not require license
• BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong customer service and professional phone skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork within and across departments
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
• Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks
