Job summary

LovelySkin, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant / Medical Assistant to support dermatology providers and nurses, delivering compassionate patient care and handling light administrative duties with a smile.

As part of Schlessinger MD, you will welcome and room patients, prepare labs and samples for submission, maintain clean and stocked exam rooms, and assist with treatments, procedures, and daily nursing tasks.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Prepare ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent out.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and stocked.

As a Certified Nursing Assistantwith Schlessinger MD, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant and award-winning dermatology clinic. Your main responsibilities will revolve around assisting our dedicated providers and fellow nurses in patient care, managing administrative duties with a smile, and delivering top-notch customer service to our cherished patients. In this role you will...

Possess a deep dedication to patient well-being, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team.

• Welcome and room patients while creating a warm and professional experience
• Facilitate patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent out
• Prepare examination and procedure rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
• Assist nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry, sterilizing rooms, autoclaving instruments

We are looking for someone with:

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other external parties in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
