The role you’ll contribute:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing routine care under the direction of the RN. They provide comfort to patients and communicate according to protocol.

The CNA acts as a role model for the mission and patient promise of AdventHealth. They work within the parameters of the Florida Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, policies, protocols, and procedures, utilizing relevant references for clinical practice.

• Provide activities of daily living and personal hygiene assistance. Assist with treatments as instructed by the RN.
• Ensure patient comfort by utilizing resources, answering call lights and requests, transporting patients, and reporting observations to the RN.
