The role you’ll contribute:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs routine care under the RN's supervision, ensuring patient comfort and communicating according to protocol.

S/he acts as a role model for the mission and patient promise of AdventHealth, working within the Florida Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, policies, protocols, and procedures, and using relevant references for clinical practice.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene. Supporting treatments as instructed by the RN.
• Ensuring patient comfort by utilizing resources, answering call lights and requests, transporting patients, and reporting observations to the RN.
• Obtaining vital signs, weights, I&O, and blood sugars.
