Job summary

Health Marketing is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. This not-for-profit organization serves seniors in a Christian environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support mobility, help with meals, document changes, and encourage wellness programs. A CNA certification or enrollment within four months is required, with ongoing training and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification required or enrollment in a training program to obtain it within four months.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or long-term care experience preferred.
• Completion of yearly competency testing and ongoing education (at least 12 hours annually).
• State certification and registration as applicable.
• Ability to perform essential physical tasks and maintain safety protocols.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing) and record vital signs.
• Support psychosocial needs and personal care for residents.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises.
• Contribute to meal preparation, assist during dining, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions, care updates, and dietary changes.
• Collect non-invasive specimens and vital signs; support housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Encourage participation in wellness and recreational programs.
