Job summary

Liberty Health in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ADLs on the Liberty Commons unit.

You will complete care documentation and I&O, assist with treatments as directed by the charge nurse, and participate in in-service training. Requirements: 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, DFS registry. New CNA training program reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant registered (DFS).
• Willing to care for geriatric patients with compassion.
• Willing to attend in-service trainings and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and ADLs.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care.
• Complete patient care records including I and O.
• Support charge nurse with resident needs and treatments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

Job Description:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Job Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
