Job summary

Liberty Health in Salisbury, NC is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and all activities of daily living, and help with oral hygiene and denture care.

Responsibilities include completing shift records, supporting the charge nurse, and performing assigned tasks. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a CNA training reimbursement program to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant (CNA) listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients with genuine concern.
• Able to receive, understand, and follow orders; attend in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and ADLs.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care.
• Complete patient care records including I&O at shift end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments.

Job Description:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Job Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
