Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Weldon, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care to residents. You will assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and ADLs, while maintaining patient records and supporting the charge nurse.

New CNA training program reimbursement is available. Applicants should be 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent and CNA certification listed in the DFS registry. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) listed in the DFS registry.
• Eligible to work in the United States; 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete in-service training and participate in staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ADLs.
• Assist with oral hygiene and denture care as needed.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including intake and output.
• Support the charge nurse with resident needs and treatments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift.


• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.


• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.


• Performs other duties as assigned.


• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Job Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.


• Certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.


• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.


• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.


• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
