Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach in Juno Beach, FL is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs to join our caregiving team. You will provide essential in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and accompany clients to appointments. This role emphasizes reliability and a caring attitude.

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• TB or Chest X-ray
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene.
• Ambulation/Transfers and Dressing/Shaving assistance.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and light cleaning.
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Assists with exercises and incontinence care using lifting equipment when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
  
  • Personal Hygiene

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom


• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):


• Providing hospice supportive care
  
  • Medication reminders


• • Assisting with exercises


• • Incontinence care


• • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift


• Personal care


• Range of Motion Exercises


• Companionship


• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)

• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)


• Auto Insurance


• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)

• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check


• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
