Job summary

Waldo Hospital, part of the MaineHealth system, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II to support nursing care under a Registered Nurse's supervision. You will perform direct and indirect patient care duties to help ensure safe, compassionate care across shifts.

Limited-time sign-on bonuses are offered: $2,500 for 0-1 year experience and $4,000 for 1+ year experience. Eligibility rules apply; per diem hires are ineligible.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current CNA or LNA license; BLS required or within 30 days of start.
• Experience: At least six months of CNA/LNA experience.

Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant II role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified (CNA) or Licensed (LNA) Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date
3. Experience: At least six months of CNA/LNA experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions, clinical competencies and clinical knowledge of a Certified Nursing Assistant I.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.
