Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Surgery 1 team at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. The position offers a day shift schedule of 7am-7pm and a mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care with strong leadership and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: One year preferred; one year in long-term care or assisted living required in such facilities.
• Licensure: Completion of NAI program and NA I registry; Medication Safety AME; state-approved restrictive interventions curricula within 3 months of hire.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience:
  • One year preferred.
  • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Completion of NAI program, required.
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
  • Medication Safety - AME, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
