Medi Home Health & Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., is seeking a Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice Aide for our hospice patients in West Jefferson (Ashe) NC.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the CNA works under the general direction of the Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager to provide personal care services to maximize the comfort and health of patients and their families. Essential duties include:

1. Providing personal care services such as reading and recording temperature, pulse, and respiration, assisting with hygiene, and maintaining a safe environment.
2. Applying safety principles and proper body mechanics when assisting with mobility.
3. Preparing and providing adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
4. Observing, reporting, and documenting changes in client status, understanding basic body functions.
5. Recognizing emergency situations and implementing appropriate procedures.

Job Requirements:

1. Licensed/Certified as a CNA or Home Health Aide in NC.
2. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
3. Reliable transportation.
