Job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, CNA for a Full Time opportunity to provide home care visits to clients throughout Carroll/Frederick County.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, allowing clients to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home.

This position is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements for Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide:

• At least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the Maryland Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Complete a criminal background check
• Meet all state requirements
• Enjoy working as part of a caring team and aligning with company values

Job Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers using mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal prep, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
