BAYADA Home Health Care

Currently seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, CNA for a Full Time opportunity to provide home care visits to clients throughout Carroll/Frederick County.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team that offers home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, enabling clients to receive necessary medical treatment while remaining at home.

This position is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements for a Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide:

• At least one year of work experience
• Must be listed, active, and in good standing on the Maryland Nurse Aide Registry
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Complete a criminal background check
• Meet all state requirements
• Enjoy caring for others and working in a team environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding and medication assistance
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal prep, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
