Job summary

Baptist Health's Nassau Medical Center in Fernandina Beach, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the AAU ICU team. This full-time day shift (36 hours per week) positions you to support RNs and deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe patient environment, collect lab specimens, monitor intake and output, document in EMR, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CNA certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Collect lab specimens as needed.
• Monitor intake and output.

Baptist Health looking for a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our AAU ICU. This is a Full-Time Days position working 36 hours a week with shifts of 7:00AM to 7:00PM located at Baptist Medical Center Nassau located in Fernandina Beach, FL. We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Patient activities of daily living
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients
• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
