Signature HealthCARE Spencer County is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 120-bed facility. You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision and assist with activities of daily living, promoting a respectful, persons-directed care environment.

You will rely on your current CNA certification, effective communication, teamwork, and a customer-service mindset to support residents in a skilled nursing setting in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible, approachable and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with ADLs within the scope of practice and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents and support resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
