Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, supportive environment in a care setting. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience with seniors preferred.
  • Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
  • Reviews resident Service Plans to gain familiarity with needs and preferences.
  • Provides personal services to residents as assigned and indicated on Service Plans.
  • Helps residents with medications and/or treatments as indicated by regulation.
  • Responds to calls from the emergency call system promptly.
  • Demonstrates infection control procedures.
  • Assists with meals, setting up tables, serving, and cleaning dining area.
  • Maintains a clean, safe environment through housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Participates in social/recreational activities and encourages resident participation.
  • Monitors changes in resident needs or health status and reports as required.
  • Responds to emergencies per training and reports abuse as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps residents with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and caring for the resident's environment, including laundry and housekeeping.
